Hmm I should add that you assumed we would be trusting yet another provider but I forgot to add that with antarctica you can then do casper CBC style consensus well, I had the idea before where you choose a quorum of bonded validators to do the attestation, it actually is a simpler version of what ethereum wants to do with casper but essentially if the hardware can be “trusted” to work, alot of the game theoretical attacks are avoided. Anyways it would be cool but requires Intel to make some slight modifications and I am hopeful once those are done we can then have scalable consensus critical dapp designs that scale horizontally aswell as vertically.
